How to get here

Driving Directions from San Juan to Ponce:

The city of Ponce is approximately 1 ½ hours by car from San Juan.

1. Take PR-52 South – follow the signs for Ponce Sur.
2. After the large red and black letters across the highway that spell PONCE, get in the right lane.
3. Take exit 99A and merge onto PR-1.
4. After the second traffic light, turn right at the first exit PR-1 Este. You are now on Boulevard Miguel Pou.
5. Go straight on Boulevard Miguel Pou and cross the bridge with the 2 lions.
6. Bear right around the fountain and take a slight left onto Calle Isabel (follow the signs to the Museo de la Historia).
7. Follow Calle Isabel until you reach the Plaza Las Delicias with the Cathedral and fountains in the center.
8. Go around the Plaza, making 3 left turns until you are on Calle Marina.
9. Turn right onto Calle Cristina, which is directly across from the red and black Parque de Bombas.
10. The Hotel Meliá will be on your right. Parking is through the green gates just beyond the Hotel building on the right.

Driving Directions from Mayagüez to Ponce:

1. The city of Ponce is approximately 1 hour by car from Mayagüez.
2. Take PR-2 S.
3. Continue on PR-2.
4. Turn left onto Avenida Hostos PR-10.
5. Pass Burger King on the left and at the next traffic light stay to the left.
6. Turn left at fork in the road by the statue of the abolition onto Calle Marina.
7. Turn right onto Calle Cristina, which is directly across from the red and black Parque de Bombas.
8. The Hotel Meliá will be on your right. Parking is through the green gates just beyond the Hotel building on the right.

Driving Directions from Arecibo to Ponce:

The city of Ponce is approximately 1 ½ hours by car from Arecibo:

1. Take PR-10 S.
2. Take the exit ramp to Carretera Tibes/PR-503.
3. Turn right onto PR-503.
4. Continue on PR-503, which becomes Calle Mayor Cantera.
5. Turn right onto Calle Isabel.
6. Follow Calle Isabel until you reach the Plaza Las Delicias with the Cathedral and fountains in the center.
7. Go around the Plaza, making 3 left turns until you are on Calle Marina.
8. Turn right onto Calle Cristina, which is directly across from the red and black Parque de Bombas.
9. The Hotel Meliá will be on your right. Parking is through the green gates just beyond the Hotel building on the right.
